About Me

I graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in journalism and English in May 2025. I started reporting at The Minnesota Daily, the U of M’s campus daily newspaper, as a reporter for the campus administration desk before becoming the desk’s editor a year later in May 2023.

In my role I covered campus protests, Board of Regents policies and decisions, academic freedom and faculty governance and managed a team of five reporters.

I worked as a public safety intern at Star Tribune starting January 2025. I covered local news and crime stories in the Twin Cities ang greater metro area.

In August 2024, I joined The Reporters’ Inc., a nonprofit news organization and independent documentary production house,  as an associate producer and research assistant. There I am working on a documentary project on overturned wrongful convictions for defendants accused of Shaken Baby Syndrome. I’ve used my journalism skills researching the legal ramifications of inaccurate and disputed medical evidence used in these cases.

Outside of work, I love watching movies with my husband, Jay, and playing fetch or tug-of-war with my puppy, Calo.
